Christmas is only 25 days away and another year has disappeared!!!
We will be holding a Soiree in the upstairs room at the Clarendon Pub, Cambridge Street, on the evening of Friday the 11th December starting at 19:00 to wish tenants, staff, and, contractors a Merry Christmas. I do hope that you are able to come along.
Most of Bradley Construction’s workforce are from Poland, and they are already getting excited at the prospect of going home to be with their families and loved ones for Christmas. Their last day of work will be 15th December but they will be returning to work on Monday 11th January 2010 to complete the works. When the work stops for Christmas the hallway and stairs will be largely decorated, however the new reception area won’t be completed, and the new carpet won’t be laid until the New Year. We will make a special effort to leave the whole common areas very clean for you all over the Christmas period.
The new wired computer network should be commissioned over the weekend of 5th/6th December. All flats in every building will be inspected for sticking windows on Friday 4th December (this is your formal notice of entry), please let George know of any inconvenient times.
I hope everyone living in the new studios is happy with their heating and hot water, I have tried it personally and think that the showers exceed expectations. The last flat to be completed and handed over to let should happen by the middle of the second week of the month.
