I say on this blog that new flat rental vacancies will be notified on the blog before they appear in advertising. I would like to ask you a couple of questions, and encourage you to comment with your views:
- Do you follow the blog and find the advertising a nuisance? In other words would you prefer if the blog wasn’t used to notify new tenancies? I have an advertising panel to the right – do you think that I should leave notification of new tenancies to that?
- We have had rather a hectic summer with tenancies becoming available and letting faster than we could notify or advertise them. To be honest I have failed in my promise to notify new vacancies on the blog – people who have come to view a flat which has been taken, have then taken a flat which we know will become available, but haven’t had a chance to market. Is that bad of me?
Should I continue advertising our vacancies on the blog or stop? I’d like your opinion.
OK – now cutting to the chase – what do we have available? We have two studios, both at £1150 pcm.
The first Studio has become available because the current tenant wishes to exit their contract due to a family illness. It is a large southfacing new development. I haven’t got a webpage sorted out on our own website to advertise it because it has always rented out before it has been advertised (it’s that good!). However it can be seen here.
The second Studio is available from 13th December. It is available for a long term let, but also because of the unusual time of year we will let it out over Christmas or New Year for 1 week at £600 for the week (we are in a superb location for tourists). Again it is a new development and details can be seen here
