Following the outstanding success for Barclays Bank of their sponsorship of the Boris Bike we thought we would approach Transport for London about a similar deal for the 24 Bus Route. Although the C10 is a much handier bus for us, with a Bus Stop only 1 min walk away, the 24 Bus has many more attractions for us in sponsorship. The 24 Bus route Hampstead Heath – Camden Town – Trafalgar Square – Victoria – Pimlico passes through the West End with all it’s tourist attractions, giving us an upmarket exposure as it goes round Parliament Square, up Whitehall, round Trafalgar Square, and past Leicester Square, Theatreland, Soho, and Covent Garden.
The route also carries more gravitas dating back to 1910, when it ran between Hampstead Heath and Victoria, being extended in August 1912 to Pimlico, making this the oldest unchanged bus route in London!
George and I were able to trial a prototype of the proposed sponsored bus, and here is a picture of us taking the bus around Parliament Square. Click the picture to see it full size and see the subtle but effective sponsorship more clearly (also you can see that I even got to drive the bus!).

We used to advertise on the back of buses but this is ingenious.
Perhaps the back of a number 10 would be a good spot for you too.
Who are you kidding? 1) Photoshop 2) since this would confuse the clarity of destination names on buses it would never be permitted.
